Machete #8

The The Double Sided Machete made #8 due to the description! It's a saw and machete in one. I wouldn't usually be attracted to reading about knives but then I caught the word daughter. Check this!

"Perfect for camping, clearing brush at the cabin or just intimidating the next guy your daughter drags home, this handy tool puts two blades in your grasp."

Having two daughters I immediately saw the wisdom in this statement.

Deluth Trading Co ~ Countdown!

#9 Pictures were requested so now we have added visuals! The ad description reads...Extreme conditions call for a new kind of work shirt. Now this doesn't sound too bad until the sentence.... Won't help with rattlesnakes though...WTF.... do rattlers like sweat???? Do rattlesnakes smell???? Then they throw in the testimonial... "We have to stay cool to keep our minds sharp!" Try telling that to any menopausal woman you know... on second thought don't mention it.. might set off an explosion!

#10 Longtail T ~ The solution to Plumber's Butt (Let that soak in a minute) here's some more of the description.... "Why be the butt of job site jokes?" and the testimonial.... "My husband loves his longtail T's and so does everyone working behind him!"

On page 1, I realized that this catalog has true potential!

DJO

It has been forever since I have blogged. (Or at least since January!) Lots has happened. I guess one of the most fun times has been the DJO crew. We have performed at the Rialto Theater with a Celtic Rock group, on Pearl Street and featured at the Heartbeat festival. It has taken many hours of practice but I do think we sound pretty good. We are preparing for our second season so we'll see where we go from here.

Monday

Finally it's back to full routine from the holidays! I love the holidays but somehow my life gets so scattered! Maybe scattered isn't quite the word to use here but just different focus. This year on top of the holiday activities Natalie moved back home. It has taken us weeks to actually get her living stuff out of the garage and assimilated back into the house in some sort of fashion that doesn't look and feel like chaos! Today she is back in college and our routine for the next couple of months begins. I have to admit that even though the focus overshadowed the holidays at times the whole transition so far has gone smoother than anticipated. It probably keeps me on my toes and mentally sharp to have to adjust to new routines and schedules.... like 5 cats! There have been a few tussels and one emergency vet visit but for the most part the cats have begun to adjust from the stress of moving and becoming part of a new pack. So, I will meditate, exercise, water my plants, and begin planning for spring and summer vacation trips! Go routines!!!!!!
